The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide this service to you but we may also use this information to help us to improve our services to you.
We will use this information to enable us to offer you appropriate services, to keep you informed of Terrence Higgins Trust news and developments if you’ve given us permission to do so, and to seek feedback to monitor and evaluate our services.
The personal data you provide online will be used by Terrence Higgins Trust for the provision of this service. Terrence Higgins Trust will be Data Controller for the purpose of running this website and the self testing service. Payment information will be processed securely by our third-party provider, Stripe. We use Twilio to process text messages for mobile phone number verification and to send result reminders.
Your name and address will be shared securely with one of our test providers in order to fulfil your order. In the case of blood tests, this is Owen Mumford Ltd, who make the self test kits. Owen Mumford will be a Data Processor for the purpose of supplying the test. They will share your name and address with their logistics partner for the sole purpose of posting out your test. Read Owen Mumford’s privacy policy. In the case of oral tests, your order will be fulfilled by Invitech Ltd on behalf of OraSure Technologies. Read Invitech’s privacy policy.
If you choose to use our Click and Collect service, your name and email address will additionally be shared with HubBox to enable your test to be picked up from a Collect Point. Read HubBox’s own privacy policy.
If you choose to opt in to self testing reminders, we will send you reminder emails via our third party email marketing platform provided by Charity Digital.

You may only order one test at a time. You may only order for yourself.
We will send you an email confirming your order. We will send you up to two text message reminders until you have submitted your result. We may use your email address to contact you to ask about your experience of the service. We may contact you by telephone or email if you report a positive result. These are core parts of the service and by ordering a test you agree to be contacted in this way.
Refunds are at the discretion of Terrence Higgins Trust. We are not able to cancel orders once they have been despatched.
