About you

We will send you a test in an unmarked package to any UK address, or to one of our 6,000 Click and Collect points. Postage is free.

Our self test involves taking a small blood sample from a finger prick. Follow the simple instructions and you will be able to read the result yourself within 15 minutes.

This test is for people who do not know their HIV status, or whose last test was negative. If you are on PrEP or thinking about starting, please read this information about self testing and PrEP.

We’ve arranged a special half-price offer of £15 with our test kit supplier. We also offer free tests:

  • As part of our coronavirus response, test kits are currently free to eligible users in some areas. In England, these are the council areas of Bedford and Central Bedfordshire; Brighton and Hove; Essex and Thurrock; Milton Keynes; Norfolk; and Suffolk. In Scotland, these are areas covered by the NHS Health Boards for Fife, Lanarkshire, Ayrshire & Arran and Tayside. Order a kit to an address covered by our free service and you won’t be asked for payment.
  • We are funding free tests for eligible people on low incomes who can’t afford our special price of £15. As long as stock is available, you will be able to choose this option on the payment page.
  • If you’d like a free HIV test and aren’t covered by this service, use our test finder to search for free self testing and postal testing in your area.
